A large crystal drop is topped by smaller pink crystals and a silver unicorn. The unicorn is a legendary animal from European folklore. First mentioned by the ancient Greeks, it became the most important imaginary animal of the middle ages and Renaissance when it was commonly described as an extremely wild woodland creature, a symbol of purity and grace, which could only be captured by a virgin. In the encyclopedias its horn was said to have the power to render poisoned water potable and to heal sickness. This unicorn tops a cluster of crystals that sparkle and shine in the sun. Made of genuine Austrian crystals, these glittering sparklers do for light what Woodstock chimes do for sound. Recommended for indoor use. WOODSTOCK THE ORIGINAL MUSICALLY TUNED CHIME - Woodstock stands behind every product they make with a one-year and a lifetime tuning on their musically tuned chimes. The first Woodstock Chime was created by Grammy award-winning musician Garry Kvistad from an aluminum lawn chair he found in a landfill. As a professional musician and instrument designer, he was fascinated by the Scales of Olympos, a 7th century pentatonic scale that can't be played on a modern piano. Garry had the idea to cut and tune the lawn chair chime tubes to the exact frequency of the ancient scale. The resulting Chimes of Olympos was the first Woodstock Chime and is still one of their bestselling windchimes. Garry and his wife Diane founded Woodstock Percussion, in 1979 and it remains a family-owned business in New York's Hudson Valley.
