Woodstock Chimes Music Collection Club Ukulele, Classic
Product Description Authentic-sounding ukulele includes pick, illustrated instructions & songs. Made of high quality wood for that authentic Hawaiian sound. In addition to being cool in and of itself, a ukulele is an excellent starter instrument for future guitar players. In 1979, Grammy Award-winning musician and instrument designer Garry Kvistad created the first Woodstock Chime from an aluminum lawn chair he found in a landfill. Fascinated by the Scale of Olympos, a 7th century pentatonic scale that can’t be played on a modern piano, Garry cut and tuned the lawn chair tubes to the exact frequency of the ancient scale. The resulting Chimes of Olympos was the first Woodstock Chime and is still one of our best selling, musically-tuned windchimes. Garry and his wife Diane still develop the chimes today as part of their family-owned business in New York’s Hudson Valley. Woodstock Chimes - The World's Favorite Windchime. From the Manufacturer Nearly 50 years after Tiny Tim tiptoed through the tulips, the ukulele is popular again. Ukulele clubs are popping up like crazy and this upscale, professional-quality model is perfect for players of any age who want to join the fun. Comes in a 4-color gift box. Ukulele is 21 inches long; intended for children ages 6+. The Woodstock Music Collection consists of authentic-sounding, small-sized musical instruments that are suitable for children. We have melodic instruments like guitars and harmonicas, and we have rhythmic instruments like tambourines and drums. It's easy to learn to play the instruments in the Woodstock Music Collection; most come with instructions and songsheets. Plus you can go online to www.chimes.com/songs and find even more songs to play. One thing we've learned through the years is that often parents have as much fun playing our instruments as their children, so the Woodstock Music Collection also includes instruments that are suitable for grownups.
